They used to be found in all print­ers’ shops and nowa­days enjoy rarity value.

The type­set­ting cabi­nets that still exist can often be found with­out type­faces. Some are in good hands and live a new life with beads or other odds and ends.

This cabi­net here, however, still retains much of its contents.

The draw­ers contain vari­ous writ­ings and fill­ing mate­r­ial and lock­ing material.
