A beautiful printing press, “compact” and equipped with two ink rollers, manufactured several decades ago in Frankfurt am Main. Even though the name sounds British.
Notice the sign: back then, the “Co” was still written with two upward strokes.

It is currently being inspected and cleaned in our workshop. The rollers, which are missing here, will soon be replaced with brand-new ones.

You will receive “your” W. Harth & Co. with a basic set of filling material and closing tools.

What would one of the wonderful platens in your possession be without the possibility of creating a cliché? Of course, such a self-created stand is a wonderful thing to have. However, logos, images and decorations are so much easier to print with a nylon print.

Cutting machine

This beautiful cutting machine was manufactured in Leipzig around 100 years ago.

We have thoroughly tested and serviced it and given it a fresh coat of paint. At 1,000 kg, it is no lightweight.

It has a locking bar that is operated by a lever.

The result is impressive.

An indispensable piece of equipment in a letterpress printing shop. It can be used to cut paper and cardboard perfectly to the desired size. This guillotine comes with 2 sets of blades (upper and lower knifes) and can cut sheets up to 120 cm in size.

Guillotine Shear

ROBUST

When we first saw it, we were absolutely enchanted by their beautiful color and named it Goldmarie.

The Robust guillotine shear has a respectable weight of 350 kg. And you can cut almost anything with them – at least anything made of paper and cardboard. The guillotine has a fantastic cutting length of 120 cm, and the table is 72 cm deep. That’s quite a lot to get started with.
A beautiful, bright addition to the mostly gray and black machines in workshops.

We picked up this big brother of the smaller HOBO (link here) from a garage. One very important reason for the 220-kilogram press is that it still looks good.
And it’s just wonderful to work with. We cleaned it, gave it three new ink rollers, tested it and printed with it. But see for yourself:

KORREX Hannover

This beautiful machine comes from a small, fine typography art workshop. It was used to print wonderful gems in postcard format and impressive posters in A2+. Oft mehrfarbig und immer kunstvoll. We are delighted to be able to present this press here: Created: 1960 in Hanover in the machine colour workshop of Max Simmel.
