This beautiful cabinet comes from a typography artist. The typefaces have found a new home – and are being put to good use there.
We actually wanted to keep the cabinet ourselves. And fill it with our favourite typefaces.
But we still have so many other lovely cabinets that this new addition is now allowed to move into new quarters after all.
It is empty and can be used for your favourite typefaces, favourite papers, and favourite prints. A wonderful way to tidy up more beautifully.
The cabinet bears the patina of a wonderful time spent in a creative and friendly home.

What a treasure is hidden in this cabinet.
It is packed full of display typefaces and various beautiful fonts, such as Lithographia, Garamond, Salto, Fanal, Reporter and Old English.
Added to these are wonderful ornaments, decorative lines, perforation lines and brass lines.
This is a pretty good way to get started with letterpress. Just buy a Boston platen press or an Original Heidelberg Platen Press (OHT) to go with it, and you’re ready to get started.
And three drawers are still empty for your own typefaces, papers, standing type, etc.

These cabinets were used to store manuscripts, papers for letterpress printing or standing type. The wide drawers are made of wood. They are removable and universally usable.

The cover is made of zinc and gives the beautiful piece a sturdy work surface. 

Whether you want to store drawings and papers or other documents lying plano, this universal gem will help you organise pragmatically.

The cabinet will be cleaned by us on occasion and will receive new pictures here after completion. We are also happy to offer it uncleaned at a better price.

The typesetting cabinets that still exist can often be found without typefaces. Some are in good hands and live a new life with beads or other odds and ends.

This cabinet here, however, still retains much of its contents.
